Cloudy but HOT. 105 degrees in Rio, normal.
Rio isn’t all palm trees and pretty people. The hotel is situated right near a favela. This one is occupied by the police and deemed safe. A total trip to go up there and hang with locals.
Unexpected surprise, rooftop to ourselves.
Cute, private garden area.
Cozy lobby/common living room. Lovely design pieces throughout.
If you choose to dine here you can, but the staff will bring your meal to wherever you are in the property.
Proper beach day in Ipanema. Footie included.
The 10 minutes of sun we got that day! The plants were happy.
