I’ve been wanting to see Patagonia since I was 12 years old. Love a hardcore outdoorsy vaycay!
Me + My Main Squeeze, Benji.
The common areas...lounging deck and dining dome.
The camp with the Towers in the distance.
Sunset on the camp.
Our Dome (Standard size, the smallest option)
Inside the Standard Dome – very comfortable, warm & spacious!
On the boat through the glacial lake to get to the trailhead.
Ben & our guide Miguel heading for the Towers.
We’ve reached the Towers! Great Success.
Scary bridge crossing!
Driving to the trailhead to begin the days hike.
The communal dinners each night inside the
dining dome with its beautiful little view.
Highs + Lows
When you wake up in the morning, step out of your dome, and look at the peaks behind you. When you walk to your dome after dinner and look up at those stars.
The food was exceptional. Fresh local ingredients, and very veggie friendly if you need that – which is hard to find in Chile!
The fellow travelers you will meet and the conversations you will have after a long day on the trails – you’ll remember forever.
You have to keep in mind you are not at a luxury hotel, so you have to keep everything in perspective and let your hair down a bit. You’re literally at the end of the world… just go with it!
If you are not environmentally conscious, this probably is not a great place for you to visit.
The extreme weather no matter what the month – pack smart!

The 3 founders – Chilean Kayakers. Domes are inspired by a nomadic design & the camp is 100% sustainable.
No Pool or Gym – you’re surrounded by mountains in the middle of a National Park, get climbing!
Yes – fresh ingredients from their own veggie patch.
Yes, in a dome attached to the dining dome – it’s complete with board games, cards & a library of explorer books.
If you bring them, make sure they can go the distance.
You’ll want to give them more money after you stay there.

The main reason to visit EcoCamp. The hotel provides tours of the park with amazing guides. We chose the 5 day trek.
