Oracabessa Bay, Jamaica

To hang with Chris...(legend)
This is the morning view from my villa just before I dove into the crystal blue water, now that’s one hell of a way to get out of bed!
View of the room from the deck.
Not as ‘Bondy’ as you might expect, but not far off
and very comfortable.
Wake up, swim, kayak, before even leaving your ‘room.’
This is Bizot bar, now one of my favorite bars in the world. Incredible music and cocktails (provided by Blackwell rum,
Bizot bar details... stacks, sunset, I mean…
This shot was taken from my kayak. Ahead, the spa... that’s right, kayak to the spa in tropical paradise.
Bizot bar detail, such cool design.
This is the reception adjacent to the restaurant. Incredible photos and press articles about Ian Fleming, various Bond actors and a model of Goldeneye…
As part of a charitable incentive for the Oracabessa foundation, guests are encouraged to ‘buy’ and plant a tree at Goldeneye, Chris told me that each of the previous Bonds have participated.
Goldeneye is on the beautiful Jamaican coast. Warm, turquoise water and sunshine, lots of sunshine, in tropical paradise.. which is probably why Ian Fleming wrote a dozen James Bond novels here.
Now… wouldn’t you like to be lounging in one of these chairs right about now!?
The view from the beach at Goldeneye.
From reception and the restaurant, you cross this bridge, over the saltwater canal to get to Goldeneye’s beach.
Key to the room (which was an incredible boathouse-style room with direct access to the saltwater canals, kayaks provided).
Highs + Lows
This is Goldeneye! This is it… pristine beaches, crystal blue water, tropical canals, sunshine, island vibes. 30 acres of tropical wonderland where Fleming wrote 12 James Bond Novels. It doesn’t get much better than this.
A spa you can swim up to or kayak to for a massage that will leave you feeling oh so Bond!
If you listen clearly through the rustling of sun drenched palm fronds you can hear the sound of island reggae from all around… and it’s the best sound in the world.
If the weather’s bad, some of the magic fizzles…

A tropical island resort like no other.
Tropical laid-back luxury with a twist of Fleming... and another twist of Blackwell…
Blissfully off the grid, but not too far from Firefly Hill, great local Jerk café Scotchies, access to horseback beach rides and great local restaurants Evitas and Toscaninis.
20 including the Fleming Villa, which sleeps up to 10
ummm reggae, damn good reggae.

It ain’t cheap, but I mean.. you can’t put a price on heaven!
