Favorite Hotel: I always like staying at the ACE in Downtown LA, and for some reason my room is always directly in front of the giant JESUS SAVES neon light.

  • 1. What’s your perfect carry on or piece of luggage

    I recently got TUMI'S CARBON FIBER ELVINGTON CARRY-ON and it is equal parts aesthetically pleasing, sturdy and convenient — those four wheels make all the difference.

  • 2. What’s your go-to travel uniform?

    Recently I’ve been wearing theseNAVY THREE STRIPE ADIDAS TRACK PANTS from 83-C collection – so much more comfortable than jeans; ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH GREY HOODIE — feels like a warm embrace on those long, cold, lonely flight nights; VANS OLD SKOOL LOW TOPS in black and white — because they’re my go-to.

    MASTER & DYNAMIC MH30s in gunmetal grey; BURT'S BEES PEPPERMINT LIP BALM; A TOOTHBRUSH!!!; and this beautiful little BAHA’I PRAYERS

  • 4. Oddest thing I’ve ever packed:

    Up until I was really really really really old I couldn’t travel without my sheepskin blankie. I lost it at some point in my 20s, but now I have sheepskin rugs all over the apartment in New York to make up for it.

  • 5. Favorite thing to nick from the hotel room?

    haha it really depends on who’s paying the bill. If it’s me, then I’ll just take the standard toiletries; if it’s the client, I go ham on the giant bottles of sparkling water and all those convenient things in the room that you never get round to buying like sunscreen and razors.
