Le Pigalle

Le Pigalle Hotel takes pride in it’s location and reflects the Pigalle neighbourhood within it’s walls. In the communal lobby you’ll find a tiny private room with a pole and mirrored ceiling as a nod to the hoods naughty side.

All of the rooms are decorated by original artwork of the neighbourhood artists and photographers. Love when the local community is supported by an establishment. Go little man!

The hotel has been designed with music as the centre point. A sound specialist to balance the sound and a musicologist have been used to make the best musical experience. Every room comes with a custom playlist accessible on an iPad. And it was solid!! Lucky me, I got a room with a record player and a lovely eclectic collection of LPs. Also full bottles of niche booze is a plus.

Most accessories in the hotel are custom designed, like these cheeky condoms. Be sure they hurried themselves into my bag.

The products are Le Labo Santal with Le Pigalles design illustrations on them. It’s great, but if you take these babies home with you, you’ll get charged through the roof. The hairdryer tote too. Big time bummer. Look, don’t touch: I guess that reflects in the stripper theme of Le Pigalle :(

I get so giddy for design details like these keychains and magnetic “do not disturb” signs. Way to make your place special.

The lobby is an eclectic communal area. People have meetings, sit on their laptops or just socialising and having lunch. One of the only places I wasn’t hassled to have something to eat or drink. Feels like Soho Houses do. The DJ table and the custom playlist for the lobby playing in the headphones are a nice touch.

Pineapples, mirrors and lovely floor are only some of the details in the space.

The restaurant with breakfast, lunch, nibbles and dinner is open all day long, has a lovely atmosphere with great music and eclectic art and furniture design.

Dinner is great for big groups. Nibble and pick, or tapas- like adults call it, with spanish and french influence, local bakery bread, great cocktails and well priced wine. Solid get along.

The open bar, comfy 60’s furniture and colour scheme to hang out with friends and have countless cocktails at.

Seriously comfortable bed. I woke up in the exactly same position as I went to bed. Well it wasn't hard after the eventful and boozy dinner with friends the night before. Thanx Le Pigalle!
