Highs + Lows

  • Moshe Safdie, the hotel’s architect, did an unbelievable job of integrating the ancient Jerusalem architecture with the hotel’s sleek, modern design.

  • The Akasha gym and spa was one of the best I have ever visited. The daily fitness classes were better than those at my local gym!

  • The bathrooms in each guestroom were really special with a separate bathtub and rain shower, a flat screen tv, and extremely entertaining liquid-crystal glass.

  • You can find some of the best views of Jerusalem from various vantage points at the hotel… the rooftop, the sundeck, and the Mamilla Café bridge.

  • If you forget reading material the hotel offers more than enough with various magazines, coffee table books, novels, and guide books strategically located throughout the hotel.

  • Check-in took longer than usual.
