Highs & Lows

  • Waking up over a misty lake. The location is so incredible, you’re out over a 170 meter deep lake (the deepest in Australia). The temperature can get very cool in Tasmania but the rooms as completely sealed.

  • The bathrooms. As well as floor heating, the showers at the Pumphouse have full-length windows looking out over the lake.

  • Hot bread can be delivered to your room at any time. Just call.

  • The living room areas with honesty bar. Pour yourself a drink and take some time in the afternoon sun to sit with a book and take in the incredible location.

  • This is a remote location, so it’s a journey to get there (2 hours from any major city with an airport), but that is the beauty of it.
