Important Bits

  • Type

Vegetarian bed + breakfast boutique hotel.

  • Vibe

Vintage Puerto Rican bungalow meets boho guest house. Bhudda statues line the wooden decks and hammocks and swing chairs can be found in hidden corners.

  • Location

In the heart of the quiet, seaside Ocean Park community of San Juan. Three blocks from the ocean and three blocks from Calle Loiza, an artsy area filled with similarly styled restaurants, bars and a great ashtanga yoga studio.

  • Rooms

    9 rooms and 4 apartments

  • Music

Smooth vibes played throughout the property.

  • Year Opened

    2012

  • Designed By

Sylvia de Marco. Think the Liz Lambert of San Juan. She has designed a number of restaurants in the surrounding area and has a fresh new project in the works.

  • Health & Wellness

No pool or gym but the beach is three blocks away and you can take part in the sunset yoga classes or paddleboard tours.

  • Restaurant

Breakfast/Brunch. Vegetarian three-course or one-course options change daily. Cross your fingers you get to try the vegan peanut butter almond ice cream, spinach salad or the chia pudding. Epic faves.

  • Bar

No bar onsite but byob and stock it in one of the three common kitchen areas.

  • Minibar

Main minibar in the common areas is stocked with coconut water, beer and wine. Use the honor system and drop your payment in the piggy bank.

  • Children

Children over the age of 8 are allowed. But you’ll find the area filled mostly with couples or single travelers.

  • Price

Uniquely styled rooms with shared baths from $79. More secluded rooms with private baths and terraces from $139. Worth it.
