The Wheatsheaf Inn

Northleach

by: Elsa de Berker

  • Why

To live that rustic country life, even if only for a night.

  • When

    May 2014

  • Who

    Me and my boo.

Highs + Lows

  • The Wheatsheaf Inn really is the perfect mix of British countryside coziness without being too twee or contrived.

  • The in-house restaurant is seasonal British comfort food at its finest.

  • Attentive and friendly staff – they really do cater to your every need.

  • Delicious locally sourced breakfast included in the price. Think farm fresh eggs and green juice for the health conscious.

  • It really would be nice if there was an actual mini bar in the room.

  • The room got quite hot at night, some sort of fan would have been appreciated.
