Highs & Lows

  • Friendly, accommodating, and quick-witted staff that know the area and are always up for a good conversation.

  • Loads of comfy places to lounge out and read a book amongst the quirky yet stylish décor.

  • Basically everything in the room has a price, even the massive mirror that you’d probably need to knock down the wall to extract…just in case you’re redecorating at home.

Important Bits

  • Type

    Boutique Motel

  • Vibe

Laid-back LA style mixed with Southern hospitality and a touch of Brooklyn industrial that made me feel right at home.

  • Location

West Hollywood, Beverly Grove, La Brea. It’s across the street from The Grove and Farmer’s Market, down the block from the 3rd Street boutiques.

  • Rooms

63 rooms, 2 “Farmers Suites" with kitchenettes, 1 “No Tell” room with a mirrored ceiling *wink wink.*

  • Music

“Thursdays on the Porch:” accommodating local talent on Thursday nights that will impressively pick through a first time rendition of “What’s Up?" by 4 Non Blondes for you and your team in exchange for a Macallan 18.

  • Year Opened

Originally opened in '61, bought by current owners in ’97 and recently renovated.

  • Designed By

    Co-owner Ellen Picataggio.

  • Health & Wellness

The pool is fun with oversized rubber duckies and a nearby foosball table, but it’s worth the Uber for a soak in the Pacific. No gym but they offer half-off day passes to the gym around the corner.

  • Restaurant

A deliciously modern take on Southern comfort food plus an interesting yet accessible cocktail list.

  • Bar

Drinks served from the restaurant bar or in the garden area.

  • Minibar

Small things for big change…emergencies only ☺.

  • Children

As the saying goes: seen not heard.

  • Price

Mid 200’s to low 400’s, depending on time of year and room type.
