The garden pool with a relaxed, secluded deck.

The bedroom.

Simple, rustic, clean bedroom decor.

Our mini studio with a peeping window.

Perfect for party hosting, the dining room is surrounded by restored ceramic tiles.

View of the installation in the courtyard.

Fresh Jasmine every morning is a lovely touch.

Cascading terracotta views for the grounds.

Try some local wine in the courtyard café and team it with a plate of fine charcuterie.

Walk or take a tram and do some exploring!

One of the many classic antique pieces
of furniture dotted around the ‘hotel’.

A place to just sit.

Can’t miss the great big red door!

Highs & Lows

  • A wonderful piece of restored architecture that is a must-see.

  • Your stay is so relaxed you feel you actually own the place.

  • No TV which is a good thing!

  • The interiors are true to Portuguese tradition and style.

  • Wifi doesn’t get through the old stone walls (probably a good thing too)

  • Our suite at the front was a little noisy due to the courtyard café, request one of the hidden suites towards the back.
