Casitas Maraika

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

by: Robin Scott

  • Why

Celebration with burners from NY and Mexico City's finest.

  • When

    NYE 2017

  • Who

Cream of the Mayan warriors and cosmic gang from New York...20 of us in total.

Highs + Lows

  • While most are familiar with more mellow Atlantic Ocean Mexican beaches like Tulum, the Pacific gives a rawer, more real experience.

  • Being a 30 minute boat ride from the nearest road, one really has the feeling of being totally disconnected from the chaos.

  • The owner and staff are a motley beautiful bunch, very hospitable, look forward to lots of laughs over Mezcal.

  • Visits from flashy groups in large boats can be beneficial or negative depending on who rolls up that day.
