  • What Do you do?

    I am the Director of Social Media and Promotions at the GrandLife Hotels.

  • Do you have a favorite hotel in the world?

    Soho and Tribeca Grand are at the top of the list for obvious reasons - both are iconic properties and have always been innovative with all aspects of the hotel experience. When GrandLife heads to Paris to throw our annual THIS IS NEW YORK fashion week party I love, love, love Hotel Costes - classic Paris with a modern twist.

  • Why the hotel business?

    The hotel business gives me a platform for all things I love: fashion, music, art, nightlife and hospitality. Every day I walk through the doors and collaborate with like-minded people on creative projects for a brand I love.

  • Hotel anecdote you'd like to share?

    ....Shhhh can't tell.

  • Biggest change you've seen in the industry?

    The ever-changing presence of hotel brands in the social media and digital world. Hotel brands have realized the importance of translating their experience to online and mobile platforms. We launched our culture site years ago because we believed our digital presence should be reflective of the experience at our properties, not just a booking tool with room shots. We're constantly exploring New York, whether it be at the Armory Show, a restaurant opening or at Tribeca Film Festival - it was only natural for us to reflect that element in the digital arena because it's part of who we are. Many brands are still finding their footing in this arena but it's definitely the biggest change I've seen in this and all industries in the past few years.

  • Favorite mini bar item or hotel amenity?

    The GrandLife THIS IS NEW YORK CD. Every year, we curate a list of our favorite songs from new and emerging artists. Since I listen to music almost all day, every day, I love that we have this in our mini bar.

  • What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into Lifestyle Hotel Marketing and Social Media?

    The same advice I would give anyone in any field... Only do it if you really love it. With digital, you can quickly discern the voices that are true and genuine from the folks sitting behind a desk doing a j-o-b.

  • FINISH THE SENTENCE.. WHEN I HAVE MY OWN HOTEL I'M GOING TO....

    Not let the "me" of the hotel run up such a high tab....

  • NEXT TRAVEL DESTINATION...

    Just got back from #Brolombia in Cartagena with my guy friends. Next up surfing in Costa Rica!
