Highs & Lows

  • Incredibly helpful and accommodating front desk service – drew out maps when we asked for directions and always made sure we had cabs / transportation ready and waiting.

  • Amazing balcony off our room with views of the city and a nice place to step out into the sunshine in the afternoon.

  • While not exactly a deal breaker for a hotel stay, we really enjoyed the names of each room (particularly the Bjork room), they made it feel more personal and cozy.

  • Blackout curtains didn’t quite black out the daylight and no blackout curtain for the door to the balcony.

  • No refrigerator or mini bar, so we couldn’t keep any cold foods (particularly my skyr) in the room, even though we went to the nearby supermarket for a few room essentials like Honey Nut Cheerios...but no milk.
