Love Tunnel Turns an NYC Subway Station Into a Valentine’s Art Exhibit

An annual celebration of love by photographer Ruvan Wijesooriya

There are many ways people are spending Valentine’s Day this year, from dinners at the best restaurants to parties that celebrate love. For photographer and friend of AHL Ruvan Wijesooriya, Valentine’s Day has always been an occasion to share love. For the 6th year in a row, Ruvan is taking over the 14th  Street (between 6th and 7th avenue) subway station for his one-day pop up exhibit Love Tunnel. 4,000 of his prints will be on display—available for subway riders or visitors to take home—giving people an interactive way to engage with his artwork in a non-commercial space and bring together a mix of people to pause for a moment and embrace the love. The exhibit opens at noon, so whether you’re planning on taking the subway today or just want to brighten your day with a charming new print, Ruvan’s Love Tunnel is here for you.
