Moving towards connecting with our roots and looking for more intuitive, natural ways to heal has led to a renewed interest in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and medicines —and hospitality starts to show the first signs of this awakening.

Enter HOLOS. Designed for health seekers and guests on the personal development path, HOLOS is a new advanced-wellness hospitality brand with a mission to develop and operate centers specializing in medically supervised psychedelic therapy.

A category-defining pioneer in psychedelic hospitality, HOLOS’ vision is to create beautiful and safe environments for guests to experience advanced mental health treatment which has been used in indigenous communities for several thousand years. Focused on overall wellbeing, the aim is for guests to connect with themselves, the community, and the natural world. Their approach is to combine the wisdom of indigenous communities with clinical and neuroscience-based backing from some of the top psychedelic academics and clinicians in the world.

Set on 205 acres of sprawling mountains and awe-inspiring waterfalls, HOLOS’ first project is in development in the Diamanté Valley of Costa Rica. It will feature an 18 key group retreat center, an 18 key boutique hotel and spa, and a residential community of 30 residences. Future centers are planned in Canada, Western U.S and the Caribbean. Working with hospitality consultancy agency, ALARA, on brand architecture, concept development, and marketing/social media, they have recognized their core focus is on wellbeing, community, and nature, with intentions to build an inclusive brand that speaks to a broad wellness audience and incorporates modalities from yoga, forest bathing, sound healing, breathwork, meditation, and bodywork.

As psychedelics become more ingrained in our culture and research continues, there is bound to be a huge subset of people curious about their medicinal power. HOLOS promises to be a brand built on integrity, safety, trust, and hospitality, and to become the place to toe-dip — or dive deep — and experience a whole new world of healing waiting on the other side.
