1. What’s your go-to travel gear?
My Everlane Petra tote comes with me everywhere—it’s simple, goes with everything and still looks sleek even when it’s stuffed full of all my clutter, which only seems to increase in volume the longer I’m away from home.

2. What’s your go-to travel uniform?
I try to keep it simple (and comfortable): JEANS (my current favorites are Topshop’s high-waisted ‘Mom’ jeans), A CLUB MONACO MEN'S WHITE BUTTON-DOWN (my boyfriend’s wardrobe comes in handy for these things), a pullover sweater and a leather jacket. Footwear varies between FRYE MOTORCYCLE BOOTS and BIRKENSTOCKS, depending on the season.

3. Can’t travel without?
A good book (currently Donna Tartt’s The Secret History), or a sheaf of magazines from the airport newsstand), FRESH LIP TREATMENT, PHILOSOPHY CLEANSING CLOTHS, and a CASHMERE SCARF (I have an acute fear of cold planes).

4. Oddest thing I’ve ever packed?
Dried reindeer meat flying back from Oslo. Sadly, it didn’t make it through customs.

5. Favorite thing to nick from the hotel room?
Hermès soap is my best score yet.
