The most beautiful building on the block with a glorious entrance and outdoor meeting space "The Stoop". An exterior lighting installation, Stan Bitters' modernist ceramic mural, and the most fabulous fire escape like staircase leads you straight to the upper venue and function spaces
Coffee, pastry and plenty of coworking space with communal tables, outlets and nice people. You know, the essentials for good ideas
The never too crowded, always welcoming communal think tank in the Atrium, a venue space for performance and events with oh so delicious light (day or night!)
Ric says the coffee is good, I say the windows are too
As You Are restaurant and bar! Super fun and buzzy at night, but really, I'm a fan anytime of day. The roasted beets with blueberry and almond will make you rethink your beet ambivalence

The constantly rotating gallery space in the lobby, regular DJ and nightlight programming, plus collabs, events, lectures and workshops with everyone from Textile Arts Center and Pioneer Works, to Cherrybombe magazine and Eater. And for foodie events, they even have a demo kitchen

Roman and Williams' warm, cozy and chic detailing never fails to make common areas eclectic and hot-spotty, no matter the location, and the magic here extends upstairs to the creativity of each room and suite

Staff. Everyone was the right mix of friendly, aloof, funny and really helpful- exactly what I love in a hotel stay

I found myself wishing the coffee bar and bakery stayed open past 2 PM for all day work meetings and that necessary caffeine help

This isolated block of Brooklyn has been less inviting than the rest of the neighbourhood, but now you have Ace improving the situation
