Ha Long Bay, or ‘descending dragon’ (translated from ancient Vietnamese). Legend has it, the mythical limestone pillars emerging from the sea are dragon mother and her children, sent to earth by the Jade Emperor to protect the land.

A collaboration between 80-year old Master ship builder, Nguyen Van Hoa and French Architect Antoine Bertrand, The Bahaya’s design was inspired by the fleet of Vietnamese Emperor Khai Dinh.

Restaurant
Yes. The private charter includes a personal chef. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on deck, or below in the cozy dining area. Lunch and dinner are both four courses, breakfast is western or local style.

Not in the traditional sense, but an amazing personal butler keeps bubbles flowing!
