Hotel des Grands Boulevards Such a calming colour scheme and I love the old exposed wooden beams too, shows off the age of the building. And that super cute ‘Make my room/Do not disturb’ card went straight into my bag..

Hotel des Grands Boulevards This bed is true to the picture, unreal. How cute! Or should I say, mignonne!

Hotel des Grands Boulevards The attention to details runs thought out the whole hotel, whether it’s small or large parts of the interior. I was staying on the 4th floor, but took the stairs twice because I couldn’t take my eyes off of this staircase. Can I sleep here maybe..?

Hotel des Grands Boulevards During my early morning breakfast before work, the restaurant was barren, but I got all of the interior goodness to myself.

Hotel des Grands Boulevards You’d only expect the owners, Experimental Cocktail Club guys, nailing the bar. And they did. Dreamy!

Hotel des Grands Boulevards I love the French boulevard feeling in the restaurant. Although you’re inside you definitely feel like being out. Look at that cute red bricked floor. And don’t get me started on the shell! So cooky, it makes me giddy.

Hotel des Grands Boulevards The restaurant really comes alive at night. Do book, it gets busy and buzzy.

Hotel des Grands Boulevards I took a pro eater, @uncoolinschool, with me to test out the food. French Italian cuisine. I recommend the tartar.

Highs & Lows

  • I can’t get enough of the attention to detail that Experimental Group and Dorothee Meilichzon has put into this hotel. Every little bit is fresh, polished and thought out. Visit and you’ll see.

  • The location is prime. For being located right off a busy boulevard, the hotel is completely silent.

  • The staff is lovely! Really personable and relaxed. Whoever hired this bunch, is a pro!

  • Unfortunately the food wasn’t up my alley. I know a lot of people go wild for this stuff, but I have an Asian tongue and French-Italian mix equals bland to me. Dessert was insane though. Sorry guys.
