Florentine Fashion Boutique LuisaViaRoma Pops Up in NYC

A holiday treat for the fashion set

Even before massive online retailers like Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, and Moda Operandi became the norm for luxury shopping, LuisaViaRoma was the place you went to get one of the most vast selections of designer goods. Most New Yorkers never actually visited the Florence-based boutique retailer—some didn’t even know a physical store existed—but that changes now. Through December 15th, LuisaViaRoma is doing its first U.S pop-up, in collaboration with New York’s Spring Studios. The pop-up launched with a massive party filled with models, designers, artists, and socialites giving an indication of the stores reach across the globe. Inside, while guests can use large screens to browse and shop the online collection, LuisaViaRoma is doing what it does best with a selection of in-store exclusives. Each with the pop-up will debut a new capsule collection alongside highly curated items that guests can purchase in person. Just as people used the website to get a glance of items before anyone else had them (SS19 is already available for pre-order as of now), the Spring Studios locations gives guests something they aren’t going to find anywhere else. In a year where famous retailers like The Webster and 10 Corso Como have touched down in New York, LuisaViaRoma fits right in with their distinct fashion perspective. It might not last long here, but for the next few weeks fashion-centric New Yorkers have another one of the best global boutiques just a subway stop away.

The LuisaViaRoma Holiday Pop-Up will run through December 15th at Spring Studios
