On the Decks: Isaac Hindin-Miller

Ready for summer

Isaac Hindin-Miller is a man-about-town. You’re as likely to see the New Zealand native on the editorial pages of GQ as you are spinning for edgy artists in Chinatown. Hindin-Miller also models—the shot above is from the new Prada x Mr. Porter collection— but we’re mostly fans when he steps behind the booth and sets the party off.

That’s precisely what he’s brought for us here, on our latest A Hotel Life playlist. Ahead of his new monthly party YOUR MATE with it-girl DJ Amrit, Hindin-Miller does what he does best: starting with BlocBoy JB and Drake’s song of the moment “Look Alive,” he slowly builds the pace using his tried-and-true early-’00s jams from the likes of Busta Rhymes and Juvenile, before closing things out with Nina Sky. This is the sound you want to get the season started.
