Write Your Senses Out In Mallorca
Embark on a week-long creative journey on the scenic Balearic Islands during Trust and Travel’s writing retreat

By Amulya Hiremath on 6.10.21
“I found everything I wanted as a writer: sun, sea, mountains, spring water, shady trees, no politics and a few civilized luxuries…”, reads poet and novelist Robert Graves’ famous quote about the island he called home: Mallorca. Years after the writer passed on, Mallorca is getting ready to dress in its literary garb yet again for an upcoming Trust and Travel writing retreat this summer.
From August 12 – 18, the Mallorca edition is set to offer a fusion of workshops and wellness pamper sessions — think yoga, meditation, massages, beach lunches and trips to secret turquoise coves. The picturesque venue on the island is Osa Major, a stone-carved lodge in the heart of Mallorca’s countryside. The curated workshops, scheduled two a day, are planned with the intent of catering to a range of styles and skill levels, from exploring the power of sensory language to learning how to pitch and get published.

With the wellness of body and mind at its heart, the experience also promises delicious Mediterranean farm-to-table cuisine, made with vegetables from the property’s own garden. Beautifully integrated with its serene surroundings, the finca also checks the future forward box with its own solar panels and a water reservoir.
Find more about accommodation options, availability and early bird pricing (lasting until June 12!) on their website. And to get into your best creative mood check out this Mallorca playlist curated by retreat leader and Trust and Travel co-founder and AHL contributor Jade Moyano.
