When the sea gets rough, waves smash against the rocks and splash up high in the air and into the pool. It looks amazing!
View from the hotel restaurant. Each villa has its
own little rock by the water to chill on.
Our room. Definitely the only one to book if the villas are taken.
It has the best view and most privacy of the entire property.
...and the great view from our bed.
Amazing sunset view from our room every evening.
Pool bar...serving typical Caribbean cocktails...piña colada ole...
Lush gardens on the property.
The brand new Spa Pavilion at Rockhouse is an organic, temple-like structure surrounded by lush gardens and compliments the cliff-edge treatment cabanas. There's also a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean.
A view of the villas.
Highs + Lows
The Spa on the property for a super relaxing treatment.
7:30am yoga class every morning outside by the pool.
The Rockhouse foundation! Through its efforts the Rockhouse foundation was able to fully renovate and expand the Negril all-age Public School and Library. The Rockhouse foundation and Hotel have invested over $1m in these projects and associated support programs.
It's an hour and a half long drive from the airport and about $80 when using their car service, though safety is worth the money. All the drivers are very friendly, and if you're lucky you learn a bit of Jamaican history along the way.
The bar and restaurant close quite early, but maybe that's a good thing.
Wifi is not always working or only works in certain areas of the property. It didn't work in our room. But...also a good thing.

First room was built in 1972. It was purchased in 1994 by a group of Australians who own and maintain it today.
There's a beautiful spa in the midst of its own little jungle.
Simple and delicious. The second restaurant called Pushcart features Traditional Jamaican cuisine...amazing!!! Love the bushman’s stew and the jerk chicken!
Only on special occasions when the hotel allows.
