Following a slew of fashion-branded beach clubs popping up across the Mediterranean, The Summer EDITION, a two-week residency that EDITION Hotels is taking at El Silencio in Ibiza this summer, feels like the moment we’ve been waiting for: a hospitality-meets-hospitality collab that puts soul, sound, and substance back at the center of the scene.

The activation takes over the hotel’s oceanfront pool deck and private cabanas, transforming them into a cinematic escape curated by El Silencio’s creative director, Arnaud Frisch. The visuals for this collaboration are still under wraps, but we anticipate that the setting and overall experience will be immersive and engaging to all the senses.

So, what to expect? A custom cocktail flow, delicious food, floral installations bloom, signature El Silencio aesthetics elegantly layered with EDITION’s clean coastal design, a parallel lineup of wellness sessions and beach-minded experiences for a touch of calm and a tight, global lineup of artists and DJs — Polo & Pan, Acid Arab, DJ Tennis — plus rotating performances and surprise sets that will blur the line between party and performance art.

EDITION Hotels and Silencio are brands we admire and have covered every step along the way. Knowing both, we bet this will be equal parts daydream and dance floor fever, creating a rhythm that honors the two sides of the island: a slower tempo that resets and nourishes and the high spirits of one of the most sought-after August escapes.

For EDITION, this is a strong cultural stake in Ibiza. For El Silencio, which first opened in Paris in 2011, designed by David Lynch and quickly garnered a cult following, it’s yet another reason they remain one of the most creative hospitality players on the scene. Together, they’ve carved out a rare thing: a summer pop-up that feels original, elevated, and actually fun.
