Marignan's neighbors. So maybe I am a bit of a peeping tom...but I just can't get enough of the Parisian architecture.
The lobby and Marignan's welcoming staff, who was impressively patient with my less than impressive attempts at speaking French.
Black and white interiors...ahh, très très bon.
After a three year renovation, the hotel still manages to mix the building's classic bones with updated touches.
Mod, but not too mod. Cozy, but not too cozy...the crisp interiors of Marignan carry into the guestrooms.
Now this is the kind of bed you want to fall into after a long day. Note the funky little reading lights...
Yes, that's right...a terrace! Although it was wintertime in Paris, it was well worth layering up for a morning coffee. Those rooftops!

The staff is extremely helpful. They were not the least bit phased when asked to print a 50 page document for a meeting that began in ten minutes. Phew!

The generously sized rooms. I've stayed in a number of Parisian boutique hotels that were limited in space, to put it lightly. The rooms at Marignan are generously appointed and allow enough space to unpack AND move about freely.

My room had a small terrace with a table and chair. With weather nice enough to sit outside and enjoy a morning coffee, this was a serious perk, especially coming from NYC's arctic temps.

The bathroom came equipped with toothbrush and toothpaste. Embarrassingly, I'll admit that I've forgotten those staple items a time or two...

The lighting in the guestroom was a bit funky. A more dim setting would be nice.
