Highs & Lows

  • Complimentary sables (butter cookies!) upon arrival.

  • Funky, retro-chic décor and a FABULOUS bathroom equipped with Aesop products and a large freestanding tub.

  • Across the street from one of the best boulangeries in Paris: is there a better way to wake up than to the smell of baking pastries?

  • The staff, though friendly and attentive when present, like all Parisians, enjoy their leisure time and so were nowhere to be found upon returning past midnight at the hotel (it was Bastille Day, however, so one can hardly blame them).

  • The rooms, albeit charming, are small. Although, why one would ever wish to stay indoors in Paris is beyond me.
