The staff, though friendly and attentive when present, like all Parisians, enjoy their leisure time and so were nowhere to be found upon returning past midnight at the hotel (it was Bastille Day, however, so one can hardly blame them).

The rooms, albeit charming, are small. Although, why one would ever wish to stay indoors in Paris is beyond me.
