Highs & Lows
-
Location, location, location. Smack in the middle of Mid Beach, you're down the block from Soho House on Collins. Especially during Art Week, you can't beat it
-
Cheerful and calm for a more reasonable price in a neighborhood surrounded by super high-end hotels
-
Perfect if you're leaning towards functional, very clean and prime placement rather than a luxury experience
-
Service-wise they were very on top of the What's App messaging for anything we asked or needed
-
It was only open for about a month and they were still finding their footing with some hospitality details. The restaurant was still being constructed, but would love to come back when everything is up and running
-
Electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea (other than the cold brew cans in fridge)

Designed By
Originally the Ocean Spray Hotel, the 1936 building was recently restored by Namron Hospitality in classic Miami Beach style: flamingo pink, frond-scape wallpaper, with some original tiling and floors intact and a facade you'll recognize as instant Miami
-
Health & Wellness
Nothing on site but I got plenty of exercise with my go-to method of Miami travel, a nearby CitiBike station
-
Food
The F&B was still in process for our stay, but the dining space off the lobby looks super cute even under construction. Excited to try their outpost of their Tulum property's mainstay, Los Bowls de Guadalupe
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
No need! Treat this as your quieter sanctuary while Miami Beach awaits you outside
-

Cute electric kettle (bring your own instant or tea bags for now, but maybe check back when they're not so new?). Cold brew and matcha latte mixed cans in the in-room fridge were most welcome.

The slightly quieter, calmer area above South Beach, Mid Beach is still prime Miami Beach territory, and in the middle of Faena's Arts District and Millionaire's Row on Collins Avenue. Ideally located and especially handy during Miami Arts Week if you're shuttling up and down the beach and back over the bridge. It's kind of the center of everything, without the chaos.
