I had a really nice room but the walk from the elevator to my room was a trek! Especially when schlepping heavy luggage on carpet :/ the hotel is quite big

There is always something going on at the pool at Strawberry moon - World-renowned DJs and local favorites also pop in and get this place going. The party tends to spill over into the lobby, elevators, and hallways, so be open to some tipsy new friends trying to find their keys, phone, wallet, lovers, etc

The area, in my opinion, is perfect. You're on the cusp of crazy South Beach and locals only, so depending on your mood, you can choose the day's vibe! The beach is a block away. Say less. You also have great breakfast and lunch spots nearby. This area is old Miami Beach but very much new.
