Casa Tiny I can’t think of a hammock pun but needless to say this was pretty frickin’ nice. You know in Les Miserables when she’s singing about a castle on a cloud? I totally get that song now.

Highs & Lows

  • The seclusion is amazing. You feel totally private but also the concrete structure feels super safe.

  • If you can’t be bothered to cook, Hotel Escondido is a 6 minute walk away and their food is delicious. Modern Mexican. Yum.

  • The building is just lovely from a design POV. It feels like such a great space. Good ju ju.

  • You literally can’t get groceries nearby. We had trouble getting a car last minute which meant our first day was spent in a taxi doing a round trip to the market at the nearest town. Boring but necessary.

  • You need a great book (or two) AND several magazines.
