Arriving to Batukaru Coffee Estate you are faced with mind-blowing views. I could literally sleep on a bench with this view.

I didn't need to sleep on a bench. This is the kitchen, dining room and check in spot suspended in the clouds surrounded by Estates 10 acres.

The estate is owned and run by Ibu Kentri. The place is decorated by her personal collection of things she acquired whilst traveling the world.

Seriously comfortable bed with seriously deep sleep. Every room is different. From glamping to romantic with a private pool.

The best thing to do in the morning is wake up just as the sun is rising, have a stretch at the yoga shala whilst listening to morning birds. Food for soul.

The Coffee Estate has a farm with 50 types of fruit and veg that is grown there, including rice and coffee! All organic and all vegan.

This is the glamping room. An amazing room to take if you are travelling with a big family or a friend group. Built from reclaimed materials.

It's refreshingly cool at night in this region, so a fireplace is very suiting. And definitely romantic.

We went for hikes, played cards and just enjoyed the views and silence. This spot is deeply relaxing.

The Estate has a cafe down in the village called Batu Karu Kopi. It is a roastery and distributes coffee to a bunch of cool cafes .

Pointing around out of sheer excitement. I will say this is the best cafe I've ever been to.

The surrounding region is the Unesco Herritage sight of Jatiluwih rice terraces. There are countless trails to take for a walk, a hike or a trek.

A deeply moving experience to stay here. 100% sustainable. If the world went under, (see pandemic) this place would be still thriving.
