The Gecko is an intimate property that really feels like your own luxurious beach house - there’s lots of space, a huge garden and you can find privacy throughout the grounds. Also the killer views from all corners over the sea give an extra dimension when staying here.

The Gecko is very environmentally conscious: it will be Formentera’s first plastic free hotel by December 2018. The management aims to use electric cars only and employees are dressed in costumes made from old fishing nets, it definitely feels like they’re trying to educate visiting guests how to live more eco-consciously. Also compliments to the hotel for supporting ‘The Save Poseidon’ project - Poseidon is the sea bed that gives Formentera’s water the extraordinary colour.
