Highs & Lows

  • The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the second we walked in the door.

  • The grounds surrounding the hotel are tranquil and beautifully kept up. There are chickens and a bee hive! The eggs and honey are served at breakfast.

  • Because it's the heart of wine country, the wine selection at the restaurant, bar and bistro is really magnificent. They have great wines by the glass as well as a large selection of reasonably priced bottles. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the selection.

  • We ate at the Bistro owned by the hotel and it was easily the best meal of our trip. If you don't want to eat at the on-property high end restaurant, the Bistro is a superb alternative.

  • The nearby town is very very small, so any activity you might want to do requires having a car.
