The natural pool was so tranquil.

The entry was so inviting.

The first thing we did when we got there was enjoy some local wine at the patio bar.

One of the many places to sit and relax.

We had breakfast in the room. Including fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and honey produced on the property.

They provide L'Occitane products in the very classic bathroom.

The bathroom was delightfully bright and had a spectacular view from the tub.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the second we walked in the door.
The grounds surrounding the hotel are tranquil and beautifully kept up. There are chickens and a bee hive! The eggs and honey are served at breakfast.
Because it's the heart of wine country, the wine selection at the restaurant, bar and bistro is really magnificent. They have great wines by the glass as well as a large selection of reasonably priced bottles. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the selection.
We ate at the Bistro owned by the hotel and it was easily the best meal of our trip. If you don't want to eat at the on-property high end restaurant, the Bistro is a superb alternative.

The nearby town is very very small, so any activity you might want to do requires having a car.

A fine dining restaurant on site and a more casual (and incredibly delicious) bistro is about 500 meters from the hotel. The bistro is also owned by the hotel.

A lovely patio bar with an incredible wine selection, highlighting the region. They also have a bar in the old cellar below the chateau.
