No TVs and carefully placed mirrors so you can leave the city, and its pressures behind
We were in the Foresta room, and two floors up, it felt like we had the best view of the gardens, pool, and Cremolino's castle

There are two steps down from the bedroom to the lounge and bathroom, which can be tricky in the dark. We had to keep lights on, so we didn't trip

Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience
Katie sent a simple pre-arrival itinerary and arranged a luxury scenic transfer from the closest train station for us. Then, by the time we had a quick tour of the hotel and easy check-in, we arrived relaxed and ready to unpack our stress. From browsing the website to enjoying an espresso while you get checked in, you're immediately disarmed by all the seeming effortlessness
Future Forward
Chefs led by Michelin-star Andrea Ribaldone cook what they grow onsite and design the menu around what is available seasonally and sourced from local suppliers. The only plastic I noticed was in the reusable packaging for the bathroom goodies and a carbon-neutral takeaway container for a dish we didn't want to leave behind from lunch

As a music selector and sometime DJ, I paid close attention to the playlists in the restaurants, which featured sexy and soothing lounge tracks and added the perfect sonic seasoning to each meal
