Highs & Lows
-
The lighting is perfection; they even have a soft lighting option in the room (say less). As someone who’s picky about lighting across all hospitality (I know too much) this was a dream
-
The design and attention to detail are unmatched: leather finishes on the doors, linen wallpaper, and that signature Italian craftsmanship everywhere you look
-
The rooms are spacious, beautifully laid out, and feel indulgent without being over the top. The scent throughout the hotel is also subtle and oozes elegance
-
At over €2000 a night it’s definitely rich rich but if you are looking to treat yo’self this is 100% worth the splurge

Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience
Once you get past the jaw-dropping marble statue of Augustus, (on loan from the storied Torlonia collection) you’re met with the *warmest* and genuinely friendly reception team
-
Future Forward
They had full-size bottles of Bvlgari amenities which, obviously, I wasn’t about to let go to waste (...and came home with me). Everything else was glass, slippers made from recycled materials; a subtle nod to a more future-forward approach
-
Music
The soft Italian jazz made me feel like I was in a movie

ACPV ARCHITECTS reimagine a 1940s Roman landmark through Bvlgari’s lens, layering imperial marble, Murano glass, original Ponti-era Ginori vases, and handcrafted detailing into a modern design statement
-
Health & Wellness
This is a hotel gym done right. Small but mighty, with all the essentials (and then some): branded Bvlgari everything, a water station offering fizzy, cold and my personal favorite — room temp. Theragun machines at the ready. The pool is a marble-clad dream, while the spa, complete with sauna, steam and ice bar featuring Augustinus Bader
-
Food
Rome outside the door meant I didn’t eat in much, but breakfast? Divine. I’m a hotel breakfast loyalist and this one delivered: all the bells and whistles with both Italian, Asian and Arabic a la carte options. Also: Il Ristorante, Niko Romito and the first Bvlgari Dolci chocolatier and patisserie
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
The terrace is where it’s at. Reserved exclusively for hotel guests, with sweeping views of the Eternal City. In true Italian fashion, aperitivo hour means a DJ, drinks, and the perfect bites before heading out on the town
-
Minibar & Retail
The leather-monogrammed Nespresso in the minibar because we fancy. There is no boutique but the shadow boxes scattered throughout the hotel, filled with exquisite Bvlgari jewels (all available for purchase) are a subtle flex
