Small-ish but cozy room. Sleeping on that mattress was like getting a very big hug.

If you live in Brooklyn you will feel right at home in the cafe at the Graham & Co. Collect your muffins and bananas here in the morning to keep you going for your afternoon hike.
Now this is what I am talking about. There is something really special and peaceful about swimming in a place surrounded by mountains. I was in this pool quicker than you can say 'Montauk'. Forget the Hamptons, this is where it is at. But don't tell too many of your friends!

The Esopus Creek stems off the Hudson River and is directly behind the Graham & Co. At night, you can hear it softly trickling behind your hotel room so leave your meditation music at home.
I am pretty crap at anything to do with sports HOWEVER, those who are able to kick a ball - the Graham & Co is the place for you. Volleyball, soccer, bocee, frisbee...they had it all.

The Graham & Co is 2 hours away from NYC and the perfect getaway for a fun but totally chill weekend in the heart of the Catskills. Take advantage of the beautiful nearby hiking trails especially Kaaterskill Falls, which is one of the most impressive waterfalls in New York.

They throw weekend bonfires most Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting) so we got to mingle with the other hotel guests, which mostly consisted of fun urbanites escaping the city for the weekend. I absolutely loved the organic community feel of this hotel!

They have a volleyball net on the lawn and on Saturday nights it gets turned into an outdoor cinema. Roll out a blanket and watch a movie under the stars!
