The Graham and Co. Yes, they have a firepit! This is by far the most exciting feature about the Graham and Co. I loved how we got to mingle with other guests around the fire.

The Graham and Co. Loved the Edison bulbs and antique nautical rope accents on the room exteriors.

The Graham and Co. Small-ish but cozy room. Sleeping on that mattress was like getting a very big hug.

The Graham and Co. If you live in Brooklyn you will feel right at home in the cafe at the Graham & Co. Collect your muffins and bananas here in the morning to keep you going for your afternoon hike.

The Graham and Co. Now this is what I am talking about. There is something really special and peaceful about swimming in a place surrounded by mountains. I was in this pool quicker than you can say 'Montauk'. Forget the Hamptons, this is where it is at. But don't tell too many of your friends!

The Graham and Co. The Esopus Creek stems off the Hudson River and is directly behind the Graham & Co. At night, you can hear it softly trickling behind your hotel room so leave your meditation music at home.

The Graham and Co. I am pretty crap at anything to do with sports HOWEVER, those who are able to kick a ball - the Graham & Co is the place for you. Volleyball, soccer, bocee, frisbee...they had it all.

Highs & Lows

  • The Graham & Co is 2 hours away from NYC and the perfect getaway for a fun but totally chill weekend in the heart of the Catskills. Take advantage of the beautiful nearby hiking trails especially Kaaterskill Falls, which is one of the most impressive waterfalls in New York.

  • They throw weekend bonfires most Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting) so we got to mingle with the other hotel guests, which mostly consisted of fun urbanites escaping the city for the weekend. I absolutely loved the organic community feel of this hotel!

  • Comfy hammocks dotted around the lawn. Perfect for a late afternoon snooze.

  • Complimentary bottle of beer offered at check-in.

  • They have a volleyball net on the lawn and on Saturday nights it gets turned into an outdoor cinema. Roll out a blanket and watch a movie under the stars!

  • Complimentary use of bikes!

  • No cell service (but sort of nice to be disconnected).

  • The inexpensive rooms are a bit on the small side, still very cozy though!
