Highs & Lows
-
Fun restaurant and bars – the Hoxton Paris offers tons of spaces to grab a drink, croissant or full meal, including the Planche, a wine bar, Rivié, the hotel’s restaurant, Jacques’, a cozy cocktail bar.
-
Location – walking distance to the major sites like the Louvre, and the Musée d’Orsay, plus Montmartre and the hip Marais neighborhood.
-
Great for working - the lobby is a great spot to post up with a laptop and catch up on emails – lots of outlets and free wifi.
-
Friendly staff – check-in was easy and the staff was super helpful – I mentioned I enjoy pasta and pizza and quickly received a list of dining recommendations in the area.
-
The doorless walk-in shower is totally trendy, but it the set-up was difficult to use without creating a puddle in the bathroom.
-
Crowded – it’s great that the Hoxton is popular with Parisians and travelers alike, but sometimes the lobby and restaurants felt so busy that finding a spot to sit could be tough.
