Highs & Lows

  • The service was excellent. Easy check in, super helpful tips on things to do, friendly staff, gourmet breakfast…

  • The design. Yvan and Jean Marc have exquisite taste. The very unique pieces throughout the property, beautiful tiles, and sophisticated blend of antique and modern furniture create a very cool atmosphere. The room layout adds to the charm, each have sliding glass doors leading to a private terrace that overlooks the pool.

  • The cocktails. Although there is no restaurant on site, their cocktail menu is on point.

  • The relaxed vibe. Slow living is big in Nicaragua and this hotel really makes you want to sit back and relax. If you end up two hours late for dinner, blame it on the music and the beautiful mini forest outside your room.

  • Not having a restaurant on site or any food options nearby. The closest restaurant/store is about a 10 minute walk so stock up on snacks.

  • It feels a bit isolated at night since it’s in a more residential side of town, just be smart about it (cabs are safe and staff is super happy to call one if need be).

Important Bits

  • Type

Relaxed boutique hotel, feels like a dream home.

  • Vibe

    Tranquilo luxury, personal and cozy.

  • Location

Near the center of Granada, but far enough that you are not stepping over tourists to get there. The walk to town is actually amusing…you get to meet and greet neighbors and see the residential part of the city.

  • Rooms

5 premium rooms and 2 junior suites, all with private terraces overlooking the garden/pool.

  • Music

The music evolves throughout the day with the sun, from classical during breakfast, to Cuban in late morning, light grooves in the lazy afternoon hours… Great beats.

  • Year Opened

    2014

  • Designed By

Yvan Cussigh and Jean Marc Houmard

  • Health & Wellness

Lovely pool surrounded by exotic trees. No gym.

  • Restaurant

None on site. However, they do serve an incredible breakfast made by a private chef who comes in every morning.

  • Bar

More like cocktail service (try the passion fruit margarita).

  • Minibar

No mini bar, but drinks are available at the pool.

  • Children

No children under 14 allowed since the hotel is small and wants to preserve the mature, quiet vibe.

  • Price

    Very reasonable.
