"London's new standard for quiet luxury"
London’s first all-suite hotel, The Emory joins the Maybourne Group’s legendary portfolio (Claridge’s, The Connaught, and The Berkeley next door) as its most forward-thinking property yet. This is where cutting-edge architecture and design meets world-class wellness, exceptional dining from Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and service that makes you feel like the most important person in London.
Highs & Lows
-
Surrenne Belgravia, the private wellness and longevity club beneath the hotel. My favorite thing to do while traveling is R&R, and this was by far the best experience I’ve had at a city hotel. We spent most of our stay here taking care of body, mind, and soul and checked out feeling like a million bucks.
-
Our suite, designed by Alexandra Champalimaud. It felt like a sanctuary, with soothing blonde wood interiors, calming curved furnishings, carefully considered amenities, and hidden Juliette balconies that open to the Hyde Park air. I’m still thinking about the room-sized walk-in closet with a makeup station and Dyson products and the bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub, and futuristic Toto bidet toilet.
-
The Emory Rooftop Bar and The Emory Cigar Merchants. I’d return even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel. For a good drink and a cigar with a view, there’s just nothing else like it in central London.
-
The service is world-class. Our Emory Assistant (read: butler), made sure our every want was accounted for, and helped make recovering items left at the hotel after our stay a breeze via WhatsApp.
-
The Emory is designed for guests who can afford to linger, and while that's how this hotel deserves to be experienced, the rates make it a special occasion rather than a regular retreat for most of us.

Designed By
Richard Rogers (of Pompidou Centre fame) and Ivan Harbour of RSHP were behind the architecture, while a who's who of international designers did the interiors. Rémi Tessier designed the restaurant, rooftop bar, and wellness club; André Fu, Alexandra Champalimaud, Patricia Urquiola, and Pierre-Yves Rochon did two floors of bespoke suites each; and London's own Rigby & Rigby designed the penthouse
-
Health & Wellness
Guests have access to Surrenne Belgravia, the members-only wellness and longevity club. The four-floor subterranean space is home to a serene 22-meter lap pool with cabanas, a sauna, steam room, and snow shower; a state-of-the-art gym with a fitness studio dedicated to sculpting pioneer Tracy Anderson; a full-service cafe curated by nutritionist Rose Ferguson, and a world’s best spa with seven treatment rooms offering everything from four-handed massage and FACEGYM facials to healthcare services, science-backed longevity treatments, and private sessions with masters in residence
-
Food
abc kitchens, Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s exclusive UK outpost of his New York brand, is located on the ground floor, in a sexy space anchored by a central open kitchen with Hyde Park views and Damien Hirst artwork. The menu mirrors the hotel’s holistic approach, with approachable, locally sourced, plant-forward options for breakfast, brunch, and all-day dining
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
There’s a sleek lobby bar and courtyard, but the real action is at The Emory Rooftop Bar, where cocktails from Argentinian bartender Renato ‘Tato’ Giovannoni are served in a fully-enclosed space overlooking the city. Across the hall is London’s only rooftop cigar bar, where you can enjoy drinks and a selection of fine cigars. There’s an advanced smoke extraction system built into the floor, which makes the space hospitable for guests who don’t plan to partake
-
Minibar & Retail
The minibar is stocked with still and sparkling water, sodas, juices, beer, spirits, and snacks, from crisps and nuts to fair-trade chocolate. There’s also a selection of loose leaf tea and a MORNING espresso machine with pods for hot drinks on demand. Everything is customizable and restocked daily. Guests also get one item off the Suite Delights menu every day, like top-tier spirits and wine decanted in your room
-

-
Children

-
Best Time to Stay
Anytime is a good time to visit London. I’m a fan of fall, but I’d also love to check in during the festive season when the hotel (and the city) are decked out for the holidays or in the summer to take full advantage of Hyde Park
-
Price
Expensive, but worth the splurge

The Emory is on the border of Belgravia and Knightsbridge, two of London's most elegant postcodes. Belgravia is residential — think cream-colored Georgian townhouses, manicured garden squares, and embassies tucked along quiet streets. It's posh without the crowds, which means you’ll enjoy a morning walk here. Hyde Park is across the street, and you have unparalleled views thanks to strict building
