Oh Hello! Just touched down in Roma and already making friends with the lovely team at The First Musica
Love the decor. The hotel has a contemporary Roman style, which uses rich textures accentuated with hints of bronze and marble. The playlist complements it all nicely
The rooftop bar Alto is a vibe and has 180 degrees views of the Eternal City and the Tiber River
And let’s talk about this bonsai
After a 12-hour flight, this bed was the best thing that a boy could get
Etro amenities— which smell and feel as delicious as they look. But, I would love to one day see them in full-size refillable bottles to help reduce plastic waste
Bronze meets Calacatta marble, the hotel is done up with great attention to detail
It’s bedtime. The First Musica gets an A++ for the bed and the bedding which is crisp, buttery, and done up by sandwiching flat sheets between the duvet. Brava!
The gym at the First Musica was under construction— the hotel is brand new. Still, the team made sure I had access to the gym at their sister property, The First Arte, which is a short walk across the river
I know I look grumpy, too sad to leave bed this morning. But a full day of “Roman adventures” awaits

The bed was amazing! Honestly, the most comfortable and innovative bedding style added a sense of novelty and is a great touch

The hotel has recently opened, but the spa, pool, and gym are still under construction and are due to open soon. I wish I got to check out the pool and the spa, but the hotel team was super helpful and went above and beyond with my requests
