The hallway of the suite needs a moment. Rosewood panelling, light purple rug, white orchids and mirrors to bounce the moody light — is a sophistication in 4 square meters. Behind the mirror hides a spacious closet for two over-packers
Okay. I know, this is a very dork of me to show off. But guys! The curtains (everywhere!) are folded perfectly. I actually laid down next to them in gentle appreciation, but that was an embarrassing moment

We came on an impromptu trip to Rome to celebrate Dougy. As we were having breakfast, doing some work and eyeballing the stunning restaurant, the staff came with a cake and a candle! Without me arranging it. That is next level attention to (passport) details! He felt so special!
Not even the hallways are boring here!
The bar was my favorite room. The dark thinly panelled wooden walls, glossy black table tops with the perfectly contrasting white couches lifted the darkness of the room. And of course, brutalist architecture images. Can take a girl out of Berlin...
The restaurant is a sign to behold. Serving chef Michele Ferrara's menu of classic but elevated brunch, Roman traditional dishes with a twist, afternoon tea with house baked sweets, aperitivo and nibbles… Basically, stay forever
J.K. knows how to take and keep you in the shelter of calm, amidst picture books and fireplaces, away from the hustle and bustle of Roman streets, traffic and Italian commotion. It is, of course, why I go to Italy, but that’s also why I stay at J.K.
Oh man... This was a stay for the books. J.K. Place, amore mio, 'till we meet again

The concierge. Impeccable knowledge and recommendations for epic, non-touristy eateries. Dougy and I are next level snobs, but when leaving J.K., I felt near helpless

We felt so well taken care of. The lengths J.K. team went to make Dougy feel special for his birthday is near what a friend would do. From surprises, gifts left in the room and buckets of attention, we were both blown away. Next level

It's cheesy to say (where is Lactaid when you need one), but leaving was hard. The stay really impressed and moved us and settled deep in our hearts and memories
