Highs & Lows
-
Berners Tavern — the hotel restaurant is a major stand alone stalwart in the very packed and competitive London scene. It is the perfect place to fold into during your stay for decadent dinners, a breezy breakfast and languid luncheons.
-
The decor — I loved the giant silver egg light shades in the lobby, the illuminated artwork by the lifts and the whole vibe of Berner's Tavern.
-
The hotel room had a very skeleton stocked mini bar (perhaps a new approach post-pandemic?) so if you like to snack and drink in your room I suggest bringing things with you.
-
The rooms also don’t have a huge amount of storage space so pack lightly, this is a place to bring your chic minimal overnight luggage and leave your giant Rimowa vases and 20 piece set of heirloom leather trunks at home.
