Art Deco style bedroom. The colours and shapes, soft and subtle, rendering images of Agatha Christie.

Had to mention the ‘bacon & eggs.’ These were probably the cutest I’d ever seen. On circular toasted bread with cress and dill, it was not only delicious but very pretty.

Love the trans-Atlantic ship replica lift. It even had pearl buttons, a dial indicating floor level and a seat!

Our suite was super spacious with a big sitting room and windows circling it. Hand-fitted wooden floor stands out against
the angular furniture.

This futuristic (in the 1920s!) bathroom ceiling light
is really unique.

Some of the best pierogis (my favourite) in town. These were delicate and handmade with game filling served with fried bacon and prunes topped with fresh dill. Heaven!

The special key! They could have settled for a standard plastic swipe card but no, not here. The digital key is of course a replica, but in-keeping with everything. Made you feel kind of special.

Another super find, the owners source their treasures globally. This Metropolis ceiling lights was another super WANT. Couldn’t quite prize it off the ceiling though.

The stunning stained glass panels feature in reception, the lift and stairs. Made by journalist and social campaigner Jerzy Owsiak, his artwork adds depth to the muted elegance of the Rialto.
