"Like stepping into the hippest, most glamorous side of Berlin's past"

AT A GLANCE: Located on the Kurfürstendamm, the Champs-Elysees of Berlin, HOTEL ZOO BERLIN is a historical building that maintains the glamour of the past while being contemporary. From incredible offerings in the onsite food and beverage scene to romantically cozy rooms and glitzy chandeliers, the 5-star hotel takes Berlin lux up a notch. Pet and family-friendly, with a breakfast of dreams, HOTEL ZOO BERLIN caters well, whether you’re traveling solo or in a group, for business or holiday, or on a quick shopping spree.

Highs & Lows

  • Insanely comfortable bed, like sleeping in a cloud

  • Really fun energy in the evenings, great cocktails and a fun music scene

  • The onsite restaurant at HOTEL ZOO BERLIN is beautiful, definitely bring a date (don't be a loner like me)

  • Breakfast, so fresh and tasty, the kind you actually want to eat

  • The room felt a bit dark, I like a bit more natural light, but that can just be Berlin

  • Future Forward

The hotel is in a historical building, and has been renovated and redesigned yet maintains the feel of luxury and glamour of the past. It’s both contemporary and traditional. The building withstood bombardment from the Second World War. It's emphasis on resiliency and preservation of tradition and glamour while adapting to today's world is inspiring, however I didn't notice anything particularly sustainable in the hotel

HOTEL ZOO BERLIN is located on the Kurfürstendamm, aka the Ku'damm, one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. That being said, it's very much geared toward shopping. Some call it the Champs-Elysees of Berlin if you're here to shop, great! If not, you're a quick cab ride away from some of the things that make Berlin one of my favorite cities in the world. Hello, Vabali!!!
