Highs & Lows

  • Rooftop pool – the best part about this place for sure. Pools are a sighting in the wild of NYC. The pool is only for hotel guests, so there was plenty of space to stretch out, get some sun and grab a drink.

  • The service – every staff member we came across was over-the-top nice, and went out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible, and wanted you to have fun!

  • Pool table in our room! What a fun touch. We finally learnt how to play pool like a pro.

  • Cosy lobby & fireplace – we hung out here for ages, it’s the best place to watch NYC go by. It’s feels a little mad-hatter tea party and the fireplace is mesmerizing.

  • Allow enough time to grab breakfast. We ate at Ristorante Asselina, it took a moment for food to come out.

  • The in-room speakers are a little too good – we were asked (albeit very kindly) to keep the volume down. Oops!
