Highs & Lows
-
The relaxed yet luxury feel of the hotel. It’s the perfect place to escape and unwind.
-
The staff are so friendly and warm. From remembering your name to your drink order, the personal touches really make a difference.
-
There’s a unique charm to the hotel created by the thoughtful, colourful design throughout. It’s small enough to feel cozy but with so many individually designed snugs, nooks and bars you can uncover a different perspective every time you leave your room.
-
That’s IF you venture out of your room. The roll top bath, white robes and 100 Acres toiletries lured me into a deep state of relaxation.
-
The open fire cooking concept married with the highest quality, seasonal produce makes the food alone worth visiting for.
-
It’s a perfect location for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds. Ask for a walking map at reception and head out through the fields, or drive to one of the many quintessentially British villages within 30 minutes of the hotel.
-
You really need a car to get to the hotel (the closest train station is about 30 minutes away) and to explore further afield during your stay.

-
Food
The kitchen concept was designed in collaboration with Richard Turner from Hawksmoor, so it’s no surprise that it revolves around open fire cooking, high quality produce and seasonal ingredients. There’s only one menu but you have a choice of multiple different restaurant settings. We opted for the chef's counter but the main Dining Room / Bar and Garden Room each have their own allure. A continental breakfast is served buffet style, or you can order a hot breakfast. All of the bread and pastries are sourced from the local bakery — Blake’s Kitchen
-
Bar, Events & Nightlife
The bar staff are master cocktail makers and they have an extensive list of spirits and botanicals to work with. The mezcal based “Barbecue Pineapple” is the most popular cocktail among guests but you can’t go wrong with a classic negroni in front of the fire, or a pint in the beer garden when the weather permits
-

There’s no mini bar in the room but they provide tea, coffee and homemade cookies. The 100 Acres toiletries are available for purchase along with a selection of curated kits to help you enjoy your stay
