The Venice Venice Hotel The Venice Venice Hotel is a feast for the curious mind. One of the amenities in Room 25 — curated by photographer Renato Dagostin — is a professional film camera you can use and get creative exploring the hotel... The film will be developed by Renato and sent to you. How cool is that?

Highs & Lows

  • We are lucky to visit a good number of inspiring hotels and to find true gems that makes our hearts beat a little faster. With the utmost attention to detail, The Venice Venice Hotel blew us away from the moment we set foot in. Or, to be precise, from the most attentive pre-arrival experience.

  • The sensory bliss. See, smell, hear, feel, touch... The Venice Venice will enrapture all of your senses. The music is fun and on point, the food and drinks are just delicious, the textures of all fabrics and finishes are heavenly, the scent is unique and inebriating, and, the highly curated visuals, often candlelit, are pure pleasure.

  • The fearless creative approach to hospitality. The founders Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo are first-time hoteliers with a strong background in fashion and art collection. To embody their vision, they created the concept of "Postvenezianità": rooted in local historical excellence, but looking into the future. It is fascinating to see the lengths to which they went to express it. Every single detail was designed by or closely supervised by them in collaboration with other creatives. There is such cohesiveness of all aspects of their narrative, it is truly impressive. And, what we love even more, unexpected. Their signature scent, for example, was developed with an award-winning bartender and brings notes that recall the building's history as the trading heart of Venice in centuries past mixed with a sexy, contemporary feeling.

  • The human aspect. Impeccable service of a true luxury hotel and with a cool savoir faire that makes you feel right at home. We wanted to make friends with every single person there! Plus, the hotel has a strong bond with the local community, from artists to food providers. Future-forward at heart!

  • The art and design curation. Hospitality, art and design meet in a dynamic dialogue. In collaboration with Bianca Bonaldi, the common spaces resemble an intimate contemporary art gallery and each room has its own curatorial project. Some of the artworks displayed at the hotel are key pieces of Italian contemporary art, like an oversized star by star by Gilberto Zorio, made with Stromboli's ashes, an Arte Povera masterpiece.

  • Staying at the hear of Venice comes with two high costs: the night rate and the crowds. Part of the story, but good to keep in mind and not be surprised.

Important Bits

  • Type

    Luxurious Lifestyle Hotel

  • Vibe

Retro-progressive local excellence and the utmost attention to detail: Venice Venice is a dream to stay in and a lesson in creativity and hospitality

  • Location

In Cannaregio, right in the heart of Venice, a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Square. Fondazione Prada is right on the other side of the canal and you can cross on a gondola for 2 Euros

  • Rooms

    44

  • Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience

As the hotel is not listed in any online travel agent nor is part of affiliations and consortiums, they were curious to know how we found them and what inspired us to choose them. From there, the team of Dream Builders started to go above and beyond to make sure everything was set for our arrival and the plans during our days in Venice. And, the arrival at night, by boat, was a magical experience. They really got us at hello.

  • Future Forward

Venice Venice champions a kind of hospitality that is deeply rooted in local culture and tradition and it does so in a refreshing and contemporary way. The design team strictly chose items and materials made as close as possible to Venice; the food comes from local purveyors they have a strong relationship with (and you can see their proud portraits decorating the restaurant); they work closely with local artists to compose their robust art collection. It is also evident the team is highly trained, prepared, and happy about their roles. Technology is used savvily. There is no disposable plastic on sight.

  • Music

Slow jams, 90’s trip-hop in the best possible way, and melodic electronic create a nice juxtaposition and balanced atmosphere with the interior’s dark colors and heavy textiles.

  • Year Opened

    2022

  • Designed By

    Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo

  • Health & Wellness

Walking thousands and thousands of steps around Venice can be a real workout, however, we feel that the addition of a small but mighty fitness room where to lift some healthy weights and have a proper stretch would be fantastic

  • Food

The restaurant at Venice M’Art is superb. Few selected items cooked to perfection all day long. Breakfast by the water is like waking up in a dream. As the sun goes down, the ambiance is sexy and elegant without being pretentious. And the most attentive service.

  • Bar, Events & Nightlife

Bar and restaurant share the ground floor by the Grand Canal. It’s a great, lively dynamic between both services. The cocktail list is on its own a reason to flock to Venice Venice. In Ben Pundole’s words “the best Americano you’ll ever have!” — it’s prepared with their homemade vermut.

  • Minibar & Retail

Venice Venice came to life via the same creative minds behind fashion label Golden Goose — internationally acclaimed for the quality and longevity of their products. So, it comes as no surprise that the hotel developed its own brand of design, apparel, accessories, and toiletries The Erose (don’t miss their custom scent), also found at Venice M’Art. The selection of in-room minibar items is small — although curated with high-quality international spirits and absolutely no plastic (GRAZIE!)

  • Accessibility

The hotel like most of Venice, unfortunately is not accessible to those with reduced mobility

  • Pet Friendly
