Stairway to heaven (or Punch Room). One piece stairway made of steel and marble which was placed there even before the construction of the hotel because it couldn't be taken apart. It is a true piece of art and design.

Room with reading bed nook by the window to make relaxation a little extra special. Every room has a photograph by Chema Madoz, one of Spain’s most important photographers working today known for his black and white surrealist photographs.

If Edition is really good at something, it’s in paying attention to detail, like the leather carved floral print headboards in every room.

The bathrooms are the perfect combination of baroque and minimalism; gold painted wood and marble. Welcome to next level elegance.

Mirror mirror...

Self care in its highest expression via this tub plus musky scented signature Edition LE Labó bath goods. Inhale: let, exhale: go.

Unwind after a long day walking around the colorful streets of El Born neighborhood with a Dalí art book in your room. Be ready to get inspired again and walk out to visit the Dalí Theatre and Museum.

Rooftop deck & pool overlooking the city. Order food, a drink, lie back and relax. You truly won’t get a better view of Barcelona than this one.

Play pool on this beautiful bright yellow table (that tempts you to lie down on it) as you’re at it sipping punch. Make friends and warm up for Cabaret dinner after.

Punch room has art in every wall by the artist Andrea Torres Balaguer, a surrealist young local artist. Each piece is a self portrait photo with a brushstroke covering her face.

Pick the punch of the day or any of the other signature Edition recipes scooped into your flask with a ladle. The word punch comes from the root panj, in Persian meaning "five", as the drink was originally made with five ingredients: alcohol, sugar, lemon, water, and tea or spices. The drink was brought to England from India by sailors and employees of the British East India Company in the early 17th century and in 2018 to Barcelona by Edition Hotels! Top pick from the menu: “closer to God”.

Punch of the day.

Enter another dimension with the Cabaret show as you enjoy a multicolored tasting menu.

First dish of the tasting menu at Cabaret served over a marble checkerboard.

Curtains that open to an impeccably well directed cabaret show that is sexy, eccentric, deep, and sensitive all at once. What happens here, stays here.

Bar Veraz.

Photography collection at Bar Veraz of Barcelona in the 50’s and 60’s. Photos of Dalí, actresses, actors, toreros and more that make you travel in time in Spain.

Surrealist lobby with Dali inspired furniture.

The punch room welcomes hotel guests to the unique experience of sipping punch while making yourself extra comfortable in this sleek and sophisticated room that textures of velvet, wood, and leather...and pure elegance.

Bar Veraz serving mezcal and other wonderful potions, all day every day. Super friendly barista and bartenders that will give you the insiders scoop of where to go in Barcelona.

Breakfast spread at Bar Veraz by chef Sebastian Mazzola, featuring the signature Edition Shaksuka eggs (baked eggs with kale and feta cheese), creamy wild mushroom omelette with summer truffles, Chia pudding with horchata, and avocado. Best way to energize before walking out the door into the Gothic quarter.

It takes you 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach. During the weekends you can pass through the local farmers market, or wake up early to enjoy the sun rising from the ocean.

Highs & Lows

  • This hotel has a VIBE and is vibrating with life. It makes you feel cozy and at home, and at the same time has an eccentric and sexy side! Truly a perfect balance of edgy and snug.

  • Impeccable design. Wood and marble flood your eyes wherever you look. The bathrooms are spacious and comfortable; they make you want to hang out there all day!

  • Fantastic art all over the hotel and photography at Bar Veraz capturing artists, dancers, actors, bull fighters, musicians by Spanish photographers (mostly women) like Joana Biarnes (born 1935), Colita (born 1940), Xavier Miserachs (born 1937), and Chema Madoz (born 1958 and one of Spain’s most important photographers working today).

  • Three restaurants with plenty of healthy and vegan options, a unique bar experience at Punch Bar and a dreamy inter-dimensional show at Cabaret for dinner.

  • BEST service. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They were always cheerful and available for all questions and tips for the neighborhood. They truly make you feel at home.

  • Can’t open room windows. Not a big deal as you can take the elevator up to the rooftop for plenty of fresh air.
