Highs & Lows

  • Palihotel combines tasteful, cozy, contemporary, yet classic design. This combination is hard to find in San Francisco

  • Perfectly affordable price

  • Delightful staff and a lovely breakfast café

  • The bath products are chic with a subtle fragrance

  • Great minibar selection, pity it was not restocked during my stay

  • Parking is close and convenient, but you must have your car in by the 12-midnight curfew

  • The rooms have no closets or dressers, so you basically have to live out of a suitcase

Important Bits

  • Type

    Lifestyle Hotel

  • Vibe

Super chill, comfortable, tasteful and cozy

  • Location

Centrally located, surrounded by shopping and easy access to the Bay, and Golden Gate Bridges

  • Rooms

    82

  • Pre-Arrival & Arrival Experience

The website is super easy to use with modern/current navigation. Check in details were received by email and entirely clear. There were no details about parking or valet which would be useful to have handy

  • Future Forward

Nothing in particular was noticed for such forward thinking hotel

  • Music

Pleasant background tunes but nothing more

  • Year Opened

    2021

  • Designed By

The property has been reimagined by Avi Brosh and his team

  • Health & Wellness

Trust me, walking around San Francisco is all the activity you'll need

  • Food

Breakfast selection is diverse and has a good selection of vegetarian/vegan substitutions. The staff is SO lovely! The croissant came from a bag which I feel is a shame in a city known for spectacular pastries

  • Bar, Events & Nightlife

The hotel has an in-house restaurant — Fisher Loft on the second floor, which is an all-day restaurant, liquor bar and special event venue. I never used the bar and there is no nightlife in the hotel to speak of which is great!

  • Minibar & Retail

The minibar has a great selection but I was so hungry when I arrived and consumed most of it the first day. No one restocked the minibar during my stay

  • Accessibility

The hotel is entirely accessible for differently abled persons with ramps at the entry to a historic elevator to every floor

  • Pet Friendly

The hotel is pet-friendly for a one-time cleaning fee of $125 and comes with curated pet amenities

  • Children

Yes, though none were in sight

  • Price

Great value for the cozy, cheerful atmosphere

The hotel is conveniently and centrally located in Union Square, with easy access to bridges, tons of shopping, and museums within walking distance. The immediate neighborhood/street is quite loud and unattractive to me, however.
