Highs & Lows

  • You're on a PRIVATE ISLAND! How much better can it get? Even if they're fully booked, the lay of the land makes it possible for you to find any number of peaceful hideouts.

  • The staff (and the adorable baby blue "mouks" that they drive around) are amazing; whether you're the type who desires beck and call service or likes to be left alone to snooze in your hammock all day.

  • Ownership is extremely dedicated to the environment and ocean preservation, bringing in experts to survey and be sure every part of the operation is conscious.

  • The yoga instructor happened to be away while we visited, but we were treated to skipper Jeff's unique and quirky blend of Qi Gong and asanas with names he made up himself. Needless to say I didn't break a sweat, but it did turn out to be one of the funnier highlights of the trip and a symbol of what makes this place special.
